About Me

Hey there! My name is Cat and I'm an artist. I fell in love with art at a very young age. I have always enjoyed drawing cartoons and spent lots of time drawing characters from my favourite movies and shows. I even had a nice dress designing phase for a while! I've dedicated most of my time in life to creating and in the past 13 years or so I immersed myself in painting.
Art has always been my passion. I wouldn't be who I am today without it! I was even on the flag line and in chorus all throughout school, which was very helpful as I did not have the best experience in my home town. I was bullied a lot my entire time in school. I got into a very abusive relationship at 15 and didn't get free until I graduated (top 10% of my class WITH HONORS, woohoo!). I moved not too far away to Athens, GA in 2012 where I had a rough.... well probably 6 or 7 years. I went through a string of toxic relationships and excessive partying and really lost touch with myself and my creative side.
I am now 5 months sober and 5 years into a life I almost lost to depression! Art was my outlet to express, control, and cope with my depression, anxiety, ADHD, CPTSD, and chronic pain (alongside many friends and family!).
Building on that, I haven't been able to find a job I can physically or mentally handle so many of my friends suggested I sell my art. I've taken their suggestion and support and started this wonderful journey and I'm so excited to invite you all to come with me! I've already had a vendor table at two events and have been invited to future events as well so that's a great start!
